Nah, I did not want a anti-coaching theme. Just opinions on our Offense and Defense. I agree that the offense will automatically get better; but in order for the drastic improvement that we need, the players also have to execute.

Woody is getting this year to improve our team; so far he gets a A. But we both know the regualar season is when it matters...

Offense can only get you so far. To win, you MUST play defense, or be able to get key stops at the end of games.

The Hawks shot 50%+ in some games last year, and still lost.

I'd pretty much bet that when this team played good defense, we won more . . than when we played great offense.

I am not making a case that we need offense and no defense in order to win games. I think we already have a average defense (16th) to go along with a very piss poor offense (30th)....
