Praying that Atlanta doesn't take you in the draft?

Atlanta doesn't.

Good for him. If he doesn't want to be here, that's fine.

Being one of the top picks, he wasn't going to go to

one of the top teams - - They draft much later.

If he REALLY said that, shame on him. That's an insult

to the Hawks, all their team and all true Hawk fans.

I don't have any problem with him praying that he won't

be picked by Atlanta. That's his personal feeling about

the matter. To slap Atlanta with his comment is another

matter. At best, it shows poor taste.

"I love where I'm at. I love being here with this team,

this city, these fans and these coaches." If he had only

said that, no problem. No. He makes enemies of all

true Hawk fans. What a way to start your career.

Don't go out kicking my church, my family, my dog or

my favorite sports team. Either one will get me riled

up. He's just kicked the Hawks!

He is from Arkansas and has family in Memphis.

regardless it was a poor career move to make that statement.

lol... How do you figure? You think a GM is going to care? You think if Conley goes on to being a solid player, and is entering Free Agency, that any GM in need of a PG is going to care what Conley said in Vibe magazine.

Agreed. This really means nothing other than I now have a duty to heckle him.
