I just saw where a 3 way deal w/ Sac, Lakers, and Bulls fell apart and it got me thinking....we could benefit from the Kobe sweepstakes.

Hawks outgoing: Joe Johnson, Lorenzen Wright, Josh Smith

Hawks incoming: Ben Gordon, Ben Wallace

Bulls outgoing: Ben Gordon, Ben Wallace

Bulls incoming: Kobe Bryant

Lakers ourgoing: Kobe Bryant

Lakers incoming: Joe Johnson, Josh Smith, Lorenzen Wright

Law/Lue/Claxton

Gordon/Johnson/Stoudamire

Williams/Childress

Horford/Williams/Jones

Wallace/Pachulia

That trade is D2mn terrible.

Ben Wallace? His effectiveness just keeps going down... and down... and down... Ben Gordon? He's a more explosive JT and that's it.

Where did you hear the 3 way fell apart.

| heard:

Bulls:

Incoming - Kone

Out Going - Wallace, Gordon

Lakers

Incoming - Artenst, Gordon

Out Going - Kobe

Kings:

Incoming - Wallace

Out Going - Artest

On a side note:

I really wish Kobe had played with team USA last year when JJ was on the team. They could have built a good relationship. I remember Paul, JJ, James, and Anthony, all kind of buddied up that summer. If Kobe had played with JJ for a summer his eyes may be opened to ATL as a possible destination. We would surely have to give up major assets but at least we could get in the discussion.
