Exactly. I thought we were gonna play uptempo and all that this year. Woody was sitting around talking about uptempo. I haven't seen ANYTHING uptempo the last 2 games. To make matters worse we played vs OLD GEEZERS they had more fast break points than us.

Our defense wasn't bad tonight. We had 12 steals and 7 blocks. NJ shot only 44.6% and got to the line only 15 times.

I'll take that kind of defensive effort.

We'll win tomorrow night.

Maybe this version of the Hawks are the bad road team / good home team version.

But I'd be disappointed if we lose, especially if Amare doesn't play . . and I'd be shocked if we got blown out.

I remember last January, when the Hornets scrubs came in and waxed us. Everybody, including me, thought it was Hawk Armageddon.

Then we turn right back the next game, and beat the Pistons on one of the best performances of the year.

That's just how the NBA works folks.
