Admin capstone21 Posted November 14, 2007 Admin Report Share Posted November 14, 2007 I think he would be a great pickup to backup Law. He is not what he used to be but I think he still can be a decent distributor and defender at the pg position...not to mention a good mentor for Law. We can look to get rid of Lue and AJ as they are UFA and could be attractive in trades or pieces of a bigger trade. Also Snow can be the third guard when Speedy comes back. If Speedy doesn't come back he will still be a much more valuable backup then Lue and AJ.
coachx
I'd take Snow as an assistant coack any day of week. However, I think his playing days are over. Especially for us, that is IF we still want to get up and down the court and run and uptempo game plan.
Premium Member AtLaS Posted November 14, 2007 Premium Member Report Share Posted November 14, 2007 No way, he can't shoot, can't defend, and can't beat anyone off the dribble. He is absolutely ineffective today, the PG position absolutely destroyed Cleveland in the past 2 years. If you think Speedy/Lue/AJ played bad last year, there aren't words for how bad Snow is. Packfill
If we were talking about the Eric Snow from 5 years ago then signing him would make sense. The Eric Snow of today is way past his prime and probably not much more of a help then the second rate veteran point guards the team currently has.
