NJHAWK
He played very well tonight after Law went down. Then JJ took care of the rest.
dalamchops
it's more like Charlotte didn't take advantage of the obvious mismatch. Dude could've shot over him all night but he never got the chance.
Premium Member Atlantaholic Posted November 15, 2007 Premium Member Report Share Posted November 15, 2007 Lue played well????? That's news to me. All I remember from the fourth quarter is JJ taking complete control of the game and Lue missing open shots. He did have one nice pass to Chillz. bumpyphish1
Lue played well is an oxymoron.
TheDude
no, Lue did play well. Had a couple pounding the ball moments but he moved quite a bit more it seemed and pass it around a bit more...he even pulled the trigger on some nice difficult passes that he normally holds back on.... coachx
I will give props to Lue for coming in and giving us 14 consucutive minutes of PG play after the Law injury early in the third. He helped hold it together. Not sure how Salim will hold up for 14 minutes at PG while being the primary ball handler. Lue was the primary ball handler until he left the game with about 8 minutes to play. That is when JJ just took over the ball, forgood reason. Lue did not play great. He simply is not a good PG but he gave us some minutes at a crucial time. Some one had to handle the ball to relieve the duties from JJ after the Law went out and Lue got it done. Props on a big win to prevent a 3 game slide ! We looked like a good, deep team last night.
