Admin
games right before halftime last night when he said that they were making a real effort to come out with great intensity and to take attack the basket and not settle for jumpers. That to me is the single biggest factor for us winning and losing night in and night out. We are built to attack the basket and when we do that it opens up the mid range jumpers for us when the defense starts to sag, making Marvin and JJ flat out deadly. Admin capstone21 Posted November 15, 2007 Admin Report Share Posted November 15, 2007 I think a big difference with last nights game was that other then the third quarter players were passing the ball around until the open man was found. We were not just doing one on one bball. When we were doing that we were very successful.
Admin
Very true. It's also very nice when we have a guy at the elbow with the ball and players slashing, especially Smoove who is an exceptional passer when he has his feet planted on the ground. That bounce pass to JJ last night was sweet. I sure hope that Smoove and Acie will be back soon and won't have lingering issues from these injuries. They are two of our best passers and last night Acie sure showed that he was really starting to feel comfortable running the team and getting us up and down the floor quickly, as Smitty pointed out he is making it a point to look for the look ahead pass after he has the ball. Traceman
when we settled for J's. Other than that, I thought we did a good job of aggressively attacking the basket.
