Alonzo Mourning expected to miss 5 to 6months

I was just watching the halftime show on ESPN and one of the guys stated that Mourning will basically be done for the season. We may have very well seen the last game in Mournings career. At least he got a chance to win a championship before he retires if he hangs it up this offseason.

I saw his knee buckle during the game. If he's done for the season he must have torn a knee ligament. I hate it for him. I always liked his intensity out there. I bet a lot of the newer fans don't even know how much of a beast this guy was before he got sick. This has been a bad season for the Heat all around.

i get the feeling that he'll be back. He's a warrior and won't retire from an injury.
