oiatlhawksfan
Can we stop the playoff talk till they prove us otherwise! They got blownout by a team that has lost 5 straight, and has no PG!
Nicholasp27
how can we stop the playoff team when we are at .500 in January? we are a playoff seed as of today, and as long as we are close to playoff seeding, we can and should continue to talk playoffs nobody is saying they are CONTENDERS...big diff in playoff team and contenders
BHayley
Everybody's discouraged we couldn't contend with Cleveland or Indiana, two teams we must learn to beat if we will make the playoffs this year.
Plainview1981
Somehow the Hawks are supposed to remain in the playoff race even though they shouldn't be expected to beat any of these teams. It makes no sense at all.
pound4pound
This is a playoff team if you think that we can go 41 and 41 to be a 6-8 seed in the East. This isn't a playoff team that can make it to the second rounnd. We play great at home and beat the non-playoff calibre teams we play on the road. We have enough talent alone to ride that pony to a .500 record. The recipe to beat the Hawks is simple: Double JJ and let the rest of the Hawks beat you on D. Back down Horford and get him in foul trouble on O. The way you counter that is just as simple but our coach doesn't seam to see it that way. Get the ball out of JJ's hands and run him off of picks like Rip Hamilton and play Josh Smith on the opposition's low post threat. If you are Billy Knight - the better scenerio is to get a low post presence that can hit a jump shot when playing pick and roll with JJ and can guard the other team's big without getting Horford in foul trouble. That person could be Gasol - but doesn't have to be. That person could be Bargnani, Bogut, Brad Miller, Troy Murphey or even Michael Doleac. Plainview1981
I think the schedule will start getting harder, which will make it tough to go 50/50. This team had a handful of decent games in a row, but they were against scrub teams. Even the best teams the Hawks played like Utah were playing crappy prior to the Hawks beating them. TheNorthCydeRises
It's official then. The Hawks will go 16 - 36 for the rest of the year, and finish with a 31 - 51 record. The season is over. Oh woe is we.

ncthompson11
anyone think BK will make a move after another loss tonight? We need a big man who can shoot outside and a wing who can come off the bench and shoot.
oiatlhawksfan
This is a lottery team! A playoff team has alteast ONE superstar in it! No we just have a bum, who's paid like one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Plainview1981
I think I predicted 37 wins before the season started so you're off a few.
BHayley
Why would we make a move? We can just blame every loss on injuries (Speedy). What a joke. If I was GM, I'd spend 14 hours every day calling every team, asking who's available. I wonder what ownership thinks about this team--that is, if they actually remember they are owners of this team. 3 highly winnable games against important conference rivals, and this team shows no heart at all, expect for Mario, Childress, Law, Smoove, and Horford.
