The Red Cup Offense

You see it alot at a bar or party. People standing around not moving much, drinking beer out of the plastic red cup.

This described our set offense the last 6 minutes of the game. It's one of the reasons for the recent losses also. The whole game we were moving, except in spots. Then second part of the 4th quarter we went into our Red Cup Offense. I kept yelling at the TV, "MOVE! MOVE!" spinning my arm in a circle.

We play so much better when we're moving and cutting.

I don't like how we tried to pound the ball near the end of the game to run the clock. We had no rhythm all night and it forced us to put up a bad shot.

The next possession we ran a play and it took 18 seconds to execute. There's no reason to hold the ball.
