ATL_BALLER
...than when we won the 5 straight? Can't we isolate that time, compare it with what's going on now, and see EXACTLY what we're doing differently? Doesn't seem like rocket science-
WraithSentinel
Only thing I can think of is teams are playing the Hawks seriously and actually watching tape on them. Hawks have yet to adjust.
coachx
1. AJ is no longer playig out of his mind like he was in December. 2. T. Lue is getting too much playing time 3. Missing Law's D on opposing Pgs PG play, PG play, PG play, PG play, PG play. That is the MAIN difference I can see.
swolehawk2
We are not hitting shots. Teams have figured us out. We penetrate because we don't have a lot of shooters. So, teams basically force us to knock down jumpers.

Doesn't seem like rocket science- When we had that streak, we were getting good production out of the PG spot. We haven't been getting that recently. Basically AJ cooled off and so did the team. Lue isn't the answer. Why doesn't Woody give his "PG of the future" (Acie) some responsibility and make him your starting PG and give him 35-40 mins per game for a stretch and see what happens? We know what we have with AJ/Lue...lets find out what Acie can do.
Plastic Man
We have reverted to our 1-on-1 tactics as opposed to ball movement and motion. I'm OK with a little 1-on-1 when we have a clear mismatch (such as AJ/Chillz on Iverson in the post), but this one pass then everyone stand around the perimeter with their hands down their shorts stuff has got to stop. Plus we aren't getting any second chance points. Chillz does a good job of moving without the ball, and looks to attack the rim when he gets it. It seems he has been passing up the 3 this year, even though he can hit it. Marvin only attacks on about 1 of every 8-10 shots. I'd like to see him come out attacking, THEN look for the open J. coachx
I would never go to a game and hold up sign saying to fire the coach but I'd hold up a big one saying: PLAY LAW You Moron ! LOL
