oiatlhawksfan
They can get the 6th spot, and face Orlando.

TheTruth
Quote: They can get the 6th spot, and face Orlando. Obviously, although anything can happen, I have to agree with you that THAT scenario gives us the best chance to get into the 2nd round.
cyman3
yeah, the only two teams im scared of in the EAST is Boston (very hungry team) and Detroit (the most experienced and consistent team in the East). I feel that those two will get the better of the hawks. However, against any other team in the east, i think we have just as good a chance (if not better) as they do. I think we might get swept facing Detroit/Boston. We seriously need to get that 6th seed But who are we going to catch? May be hard to catch Washington when they get Arenas back. NJHAWK
Orlando would be a nice match up. Im not saying we would win but we could give them some hell. I want no part of Detroit. I would rather play Boston and hope they are worn down or banged up. Leave Rondo wide open and make him beat us. If he does, oh well.

We want no part of either one of those teams. Even if we can't beat Orlando I know we can take a couple games. We will get demoralized in our first playoff series if we face one of those two teams who will undoubtedly get all the calls. Not to mention how talented and more experienced they are right now. Oh and the hunger of that Boston trio for a ring. We want no part of them.
Duff_Man
Unless Paul Pierce goes back to the club where he got stabbed, I want nothing to do with Boston.
BHayley
Weren't the Mavs hungry last year when the Warriors beat them? Quit worrying about seedings--if our core guys play together and we can trade for a shooter, our team can play with anyone. Everybody here knows that. That being said, I'd rather play Boston
Iman
We're currently not a very good road team so probably couldn't win any series where we're not the home team. Still, it would be very big to get to the 6th or better seed.
bumpyphish1
If we are the 7 or 8, I agree, we are dead. We have a chance if we are 6 or lower.
bootsybug
as old man jim mora said.. PLAYOFFS??!!! anyway don't jinx us too much no reason we can't be in the 5th or 4th seed if things go our way... or we could drop out altogether. i'm enjoying the ride though.
