Great game. Great win for Atlanta!

Those of you who ever read my posts and take them seriously,

you know I keep YELLING, "Hit those free throws. They

count too!

A great example you will find in tonight's gox score:

Free throws: Atlanta 15-16 --- Lakers 10-16.

Same number of attempts. We won this part of the game

by 5 points. Won the game by 3. That made the difference.

Sure, free throws aren't heart stopping like some of

those throw down dunks. They don't turn things around

like a couple of back to back 3's.

But, in the end, those points count in the final score

just as much as any other points scored.

Hawks win! Hawks win! Hawks win!

Why? Because they won the free throw shooting contest!

I know. I'm probably the only one that noticed, but they

sure made my day hitting those shots. Not the entire game.

Not at all. So many things made up this win.

Just remember this small thing because it was big tonight!
