I don't expect a lot from him this year but every year there is a guy who doesn't do much in the regular season and makes a big impact in the playoffs. Last year both Gibson in Cleveland and Farmar in LA were those guys and while I don't expect anything offensively like that from West I really think he could make an impact defensively. I think the guy has a great career ahead of him as a hustle player that can lock down the other teams guards and I would hate to lose him as a throw away player in a deal.

Yup, he is the type of cheap defensive player that can make an impact with out even touching the ball. I want to hang on to him as well.

I also hope no first rounders are involved.

Agreed! The ONLY way I give up a 2010 lottery protected first is if Speedy is included in the deal, otherwise we are doing Sacramento a favor by giving them cap space a year early so why should they get a draft pick as well. Bibby 5 years ago I give them the first but not this year.
