GTfan44
I am not saying this because I'm a Tech Grad, but what would you guys think of starting Mario at SG on Ray Allen and putting JJ on the arrogant overweight sh*thead Paul Pierce? That way, not only does this mean less eventual minutes for one of our core guys, but we have a great defender who can do a decent job on covering on the 3 pt shooter. I can imagine Allen running off screens, and this will destroy JJ's legs (more than they already are from this ridiculous PT he must endure). So we start: Bibby Mario JJ Smoove Horford Bench: ZaZa Marvin Childress Acie / Salim I think we can win this series, but hopefully if we don't move up, we can rest our big guns and let our bench guys get some minutes. I also want to see ZaZa get more than 20 minutes and rest Horford. This guy is already undersized at center and playing 40 mins a night is absurd. Conclusion: Let's sweep Philly, and if we don't, we let our bench play, knowing we WILL clinch the seed. Rest JJ, Bibby, Smoove, and let J. Rich and Mario FINALLY get their feet wet. Question: If we do sign a big man before the playoffs, who gets left off our playoff roster? Salim?
swolehawk2
Ya know for some reason...I am not yet comfortable. I have seen this team too many times follow a winning streak, with a longer losing streak....just call me paranoid. Let's hope we can lock the 8th seed pretty quickly. thefloydian
Might not be a bad idea if Mario is actually as good a defender as people like to think he is. I haven't seen enough of him to really know one way or another. He was pretty brutal in that Memphis game.
