I was shocked to see you post that Woody got 7 votes so I checked it out and it turns out that the ESPN experts picked Byron Scott as COY, not Doc, with 13 votes and Adelman got 3 and Doc just 1.

I was also surprised at the 17-3 Durant over Al... I figured Durant would get the majority but thought it would be closer...

Of the people voting, Horford got votes from 2 of the top 3 voters, imo. Horford got votes from Mark Jackson and Jon Barry. Along with Dr. Jack, they are the most trustworthy opinions. The rest are all scrub writers except Jalen Rose and Tim(really, I played in the NBA?)Legler. That's an interesting point of fact. And I'm sure Smoove will love the Scoop Jackson street cred lift.

I don't get the Kevin Garnett thing. I understand that the Celtics play very good team defense. But KG isn't the best defensive player in the league as an individual. I never see him matched up against the teams best big man.

I agree but I can definitely see him up for MVP (although I believe Paul or Kobe should win that).

I think that Artest, Battier, Camby, Bowen, and Paul are all better defensive players than KG and it's not like he had an amazing defensive season in any category.

IDK how he would get MVP. He plays with 2 other HOFers.

I wouldn't vote for him as an MVP, but I can see him in the discussion because he's the best player on the best team in the league. I would much rather see Kobe or Paul (who I would vote for) get the award.
