us say that Acie has never had a jumpshot. Like he's never been a threat to shoot a j. He's only a rookie,u act like in his whole nba career he just forgot how to shoot. He took and made those clutch shots in college because he was the guy. He wasn't scared to miss and was confident and wouldn't hesitate to let it fly. If u haven't noticed him playing timid and with no confidence most of the year then there's a problem. U don't predict someone's career on his first year,especially when it's not over yet. Acie can shoot and it's not even debateable. He's not Mike Conley and even he shot over 30 % from 3 this year,Conley played a ton of minutes. Acie hasn't played many consistently.How can u farely judge a lotto pick that has only played 30 minutes once this season while being pulled many times when he should have played more. Portland and Charlotte game 2 great examples.We lost because Woody pulled him,and guess what?we had the lead with him playing with the starters. Nobody is Chris Paul,and Chris Paul isn't the only great PG in the league. If you're expecting him to be Chris Paul then you're mistaken. Who knows what he'll be anyway,his NBA career has barely left the driveway yet. Deron Williams wasn't great as a rookie. Jerry Sloan said he didn't play well at all his rookie year but he still played and got his experience and came on in his 2nd year like gangbusters. Nobody thought Deron Williams would be Deron Williams. Going by what u say,all good NBA players came from top college teams in the ACC,SEC etc.NOPE that's not the case,so because he's from Texas A&M doesn't mean a damn thing. He made that team. If u didn't know that was TEXAS he was hitting that JUMPSHOT to beat.He hit big shots against them last year when the great Kevin Durant was there. He opened this year blowing by some great players like Jason Kidd and Chauncey Billups while giving those same great players fits on the other end. His 2nd year he will be alot better.and if Woodson is gone he'll take off.and I garauntee it.No doubt about.Nothing about his abilites and make up says bust.He's a smart player while having all the physical tools.He just needs a coach to believe in him.Fans like u who obviously don't has no effect on him anyway.And also don't forget those few times when 2 idiots fouled him hard for no reason and caused him to miss games just as he was getting hot BOTH TIMES.Acie's J was MONEY before that SLUMLORD hurt him.His feeling for the offense and his teammtes was money before that jerk Jamario Davidson decided to block his shot long after the whistle was blown.
