How does a young team learn to win on the road?

Is it something that just comes with time, or is there more to it than that?

Well, you got to start by having a good team that can play well consistently.

It comes with time, experience, and I guess just a mentality that has to set in with that time and experience. If the Hawks had that right now, they'd at least be in this on the road.

Now its our turn to hold serve again. I have faith that this team can win Game 6 at Philips, but I highly doubt that they'll win Game 7. The saying goes that the playoffs don't start until someone wins on the road. I have a feeling that the playoffs won't start for whoever wins this series until the 2nd round then. The Hawks can't beat the Celtics in Boston, and Boston can't beat the Hawks in Atlanta. It's a catch-22.

I'd say it's time as well, plus a mentality and not letting things get to you.

Some people say that veterans play better on the road, younger players better at home. But we're nearly all younger players

Most of the time, the only chance they have of learning how to win on the road, is to play tremendous defense on the road. Chicago did just that last year.
