Jb's Smoove Trade Proposal

Since Detroit is being speculated I can see a deal where we trade Smoove for:

Tayshun

Jason Maxiell

We will sign Kwame Brown to our MLE and our lineup will look like this

Bibby/Law/Speedy

JJ/Mo Evans

Tayshun/Maxiell

Marvin/Kwame

Horford/Zaza

Excess Bench: Solo, Jeremy Richardson, Luke "I am your father" Jackson

I think this bench would give us shooting and defense with Tashun, Maxiell, and Horford

We would still have to run a small lineup because I'd rather start Horford over Kwame, but I think our depth would be hard to overcome. We basically have no weaknesses. I think tha Maxiell will provide the excitement that Smoove used to provide, to a certain extent. We also can execute a snt next year with Marvn for a center.

Would that work? Not sure I'd want to do that, might just be better to pay Smoove 12, but ... might be the best we can do (with Dallas).

Is Josh Howard a better longterm answer than Marvin? Could we resign Marvin for less than Howard makes, and will Marvin be better than Howard?

I'm not sure how I feel about this trade, but who can offer us something better?

We need someone who can handle the 4 if we trade Smoove. Marvin, Tayshaun, and Howard - No way they can do it.

Maxiell is interesting though. He's got a shot to be a double double type guy with a 1.5 blocks a night. ASG has just messed EVERYTHING up.

Think this has been proposed before. We would be taking a hit at the PF, but Maxial is an interesting guy.
