Chris Paul

Like EDS and others, I also wanted the Hawks to get Chris Paul from jump street (and I have the posts to prove it, too). Nothing he's done, from the tryouts, the regular seasons he's had so far, or the playoff series when he made Jason Kidd look like an old man has changed my opinion.

i didn't want paul because he struggled against taller pgs in college; someone posted the difference in stats and it was pretty large

i wanted deron more than paul and thought he'd be a good pick

however, i ended up being just as happy with marvin pick as a deron pick because i didn't buy into the 'we have 3432423 sfs'...i thought of smoove as a pf and al as a rental, so we did have a need for the sf of the future

i woulda been happy with any of them, but i woulda selected deron or marvin if i were gm

ps i wanted bogut most, so woulda tried to trade up to get him if possible and woulda taken him over anyone at #2 if he fell
