JJFAN4LF
Try to be as specific as possible. Try to give a number like #12( just a random number I put up.) It will be interesting to see where the members of this board gives him.

J Kidd 6. Billups 7. Baron Davis 8. Harris 9. Andre Miller 10. Hinrich so you're about right...Bibby is about 12 if you count Gilbert
y2kenta
well I will try to name all the PGs who are better than Bibby... 1. CP3 2. Deron Williams 3. Tony Parker 4. Steve Nash 5. J Kidd 6. Billups 7. Baron Davis 8. Harris - Bibby is a more all-around PG than Harris as well a better floor leader, shooter, and passer 9. Andre Miller - Bibby is at least as good as Miller with the exception of passing and defense 10. Hinrich - Bibby is at least as good as Miller with the exception of defense so you're about right...Bibby is about 12 if you count Gilbert He is at best #8 or 9.... pimp
12 - 15 Calderon should be ranked ahead of Bibby too. The last 2 years Calderon has Avg fg 50% and 3pt 40% His 8.3 apg are pretty good as well.
DrReality
Not sure about Calderon but he's probably number 8 in the league, on a good night. On an off night probably drops down.
coachx
Here goes: 1. CP-3 - on the rise 2. D-Will - on the rise 3. B. Davis - holding steady 4. Nash - falling 5. Parker - holding steady 6. Calderon - still rising 7. Billups - falling 8. Kidd - falling 9. Miller - about to fall 10. Harris - He is a top 3 defender at his position. Still rising. 11. Mo Williams - He is alot like Bibby but younger and bigger. Can he make James better ? 12. Bibby - if he develops some chemistry with his teamates he could move up a slot or two. Hinerich is coming off a bad year. Arenas and AI technically play the PG position but play more like a SG. If you include them as PGs then Bibby slides down to #14. While Rondo is a bad matchup for Bibby I'd take Bibby over Rondo for this season.

Hinrich so you're about right...Bibby is about 12 if you count Gilbert i pretty much agree with this list to a "T" other than I believe Bibby is slightly better than Devin Harris (not much of an outside threat and can he really run a team), Miller (offensively and defensively challenged) and about even with Hinrich. So I guess, my opinion is he's about the 8th best PG in the league (excluding the hybrids like Agent 0, Wade and JT even) Edited September 26, 2008 by PlayaPat420
crimedog
This is disregarding fit on our team, just guys that I think are better overall players than Bibby: Paul Nash DWilliams Ford Calderon Parker Billups Davis Dre Miller Harris Arenas Ellis (really a SG but I guess they are going to make him a pg) AI (if you count him here) Guys who I think are around the same level: Rondo Mo Williams Hinrich Kidd (we'll see... might be about done) Guys how I think have the potential to be better this season (doubtful): Conley Rose So I guess I'm looking at him as around average... a guy who had been a top 5 pg for a few years but got hit with the injury bug. He still has a jumper and can still run an offense but he's lost a step on offense and has become a MASSIVE liability on D.
Swatguy
I put Bibs at tied for 8 with Miller. That is more importantly, tied for second in the East. Note: If Billups is gimpy and Andre is defended in the paint, Bibby is the best Point in the East. Edited September 26, 2008 by Swatguy
Moderators AHF Posted September 26, 2008 Moderators Report Share Posted September 26, 2008 (edited) Ignoring salary and assuming everyone started the season healthy, I would trade Bibby for any of these players for this season alone: Paul Nash DWilliams Ford Calderon Parker Billups Davis Dre Miller Arenas Ellis (really a SG but I guess they are going to make him a pg) AI (if you count him here) Kidd Mo Williams Guys I would waffle over: Harris Rajon Rondo Kirk Hinrich Edited September 26, 2008 by AHF

Moderators AHF Posted September 26, 2008 Moderators Report Share Posted September 26, 2008 Haha, did you cut and paste from my list? Totally. I agreed with 95% of it and made the few adjustments I had (Harris down, Mo & Kidd up primarily). No need to recreate the wheel when someone else has already done the work! Admin capstone21 Posted September 26, 2008 Admin Report Share Posted September 26, 2008 i didn't even notice that but you're right... we possibly have the best PG in the east right now. Bibby proved to be a much better playmaker then i thought. When he is on and healthy he can be as good as anyone in the East. I would rather him then Miller simply because Miller can't hit the three (however Miller is more durable and a better defender). That jump shot is a big part of Bibby's game. The only eastern pgs I would rate ahead of him are Billups and maybe Calderon. I am iffy on Hinrich and Harris. I think Bibby is definetely better then Ford, Felton and Rondo. As for the West I would rate Paul, D. Williams, Davis, Nash, Kidd and Parker ahead of him. So basically I would rate him around 9 or

Traceman
Foxsports top 10 pgs Pretty good list. I think that is how I would rank them right now as well. A healthy Bibby could compete with Calderon for that 10th spot but I'd give the nod to Calderon right now until Bibby proves otherwise.

dlpin
I think that Bibby is given the benefit of the doubt because of the years he had in Sac, but he has been in a free fall lately. Injuries played a part, but even before that, going from a 21 ppg guy 2 years ago to 17 and now 14. Add to that several young PGs making their way up (Rondo, Farmar, louis williams, ray felton, sessions all 24 and under) and he might not even be top 15 this year. Atlsportfanz
In our system where Bibby won't be asked to score 20 a night or dish out 10 assists a game (though that would be awesome), he probably is about the 15th best pg. If one of our starters goes down (heaven forbid) he numbers would probably jump up and he would have the merits to be considered higher.
