Swish
So who starts at power forward for the next few weeks in place of Smoove? Zaza? Marvin (starting JJ at the 3 and Mo at 2)? Surely not Solo.... I'd vote for seeing what MW can do at the 4...what say you?

Swish
OK PB....but....I assume you advocate Zaza at the 5. I think we'd be better suited trying out the new Marvin at the 4.

Haha... no thanks. Horford will most likely play the 4, Zaza will play the 5.
Swish
You're probably right guys...probably the safer move too but I bet Diesel really wants to see what Marvin can do against the PFs in the league ;)
Plainview1981
We will find out if Solo is worth a d@mn or not. He will likely be the first big man off the bench now.

He's tried them 2 together on many times in preseason.
atlien
I actually think Zaza at the 5 and Horf at the 4 won't be a huge downgrade as a starting line-up (as we will have some nice size). What really will matter is how guys off the bench play, mainly Solo, Morris and maybe Othella Hunter.

The Hawks are going to have to score because they will be giving up more points now. So the scoring has to really go up now.
Gray Mule
Pachulia Horford Williams Johnson Bibby Your new starting five until Smith returns. This could change, depending on matchups, health and how things work out for this group. Hawks have enough bench to make other combinations work for starting five and who comes off the pine to give the starters a rest.

dalamchops
I'd rather do Bibby JJ Evans Marv Horford Evans has a lot of starting experience, and he replaces Smoove's interior defense with better perimeter defense.

Even though they say 2 weeks, I'm guessing smoove comes back in 2 games.
tonegully
I want Solo to start. After last night i think putting him in the starting line up would really boost him self esteem and confidence. I mean we can always run zaza back in if solo doesnt show up. I always believe in going with the hot hand.
DrReality
I think this lineup will be another one that will help us in the long run. Giving Za and Al time on the floor together will be another option we can use during certain matchups. I look forward to seeing how it goes. tonegully
Then why start him, i dont understand that logic. Zaza does give us that attitude, when he gets fired up so hopefully he can start the game like that tomorrow night
Wurider05
Even though they say 2 weeks, I'm guessing smoove comes back in 2 games. I don't think so D. He has a high ankle sprain. Those things take several weeks to heel properly. I hate for him to rush back and come up limp later in the season. I think that we will be okay without him as long as we maintain out team defense.
