Elijah
Of course, we know this game will come down to the last 3 minutes, and JJ will have to log 43 minutes for us to beat this pathetic team. My hopes: -JJ plays 26 minutes, as does Bib. -Acie plays 20 + minutes -Randy gets to play -Flip plays well -That Josh Smith helps my fantasy team -that Durant doesn't do to use what he did last year
Cwell
maybe 1 of those things happen. Joe and Bibby are def. playing over 30 minutes. Acie is def. not playing 20 minutes. Morris aint playing, Flip may play well because he can score 20 on sucky teams like GS, don't know anything about Fantansy, Durant will get his. BusBoyIsBack
I'll just take a win. These sorry teams that are due for a win are always dangerous especially vs unfocused Hawks. We struggle to blow teams out.
Gray Mule
Agreed. Look out! The Hawks will come out, sleepwalk thru the first part of the game, get blown away, then struggle for the remainder of the night, playing catch up basketball. Hawks will work on their ISO - JJ. Josh will work on his long fumpers and his 3 point shooting. They're not jumpers, they're fumpers - They don't go "swish" for 2, they go "fump" for a defensive rebound. After falling so far behind, it will be impossible to get any of the guys off the bench that seldom / never play. Too much ground to make up because of the early sleepwalk of the regulars. Flip and Zaza will either come off the bench and set fire to the team or they will continue the sleepwalk. If they light the fire, they will continue to play. If not, it's back to the starters. Seriously, does any of us really expect to see a game where the Hawks clear the bench early and use everyone? Boy, that would be so great! History tells us, "It ain't happening." It's never happened before that I can remember. I dream that some day it might. So far, it's only a dream. Tonight, a win would be nice. Hope we can get one. GO HAWKS!! crimedog
We need Josh to get on track, his impact on D has been undeniable but even on that end he looks a step slower than last season/early this season. He also needs to start finishing his layups like he was after the first four months of last season. This game and the next against the Chicago frontcourt should be good games for him to get back on track before we hit the DEN, @Ind, @NJ, Hou, Orl, @Orl, Philly, @PHX, @LAC, @GSW stretch where we are playing a few good teams at home and a lot of road games where we'll need to be confident and motivated so we can click. Georgiaboi87
If we go into this game thinking that we will win by 15+ tonight, we will definitely lose.

LOL GM...you are probably right. I have a different scenario that I hope doesn't happen. We come out strong and build a nice double-digit lead through the first half. Then we will get lazy and selfish in the third quarter and let them back into the game. Both teams play tight in the 4th and it goes down to the wire again. Josh Smith may have a triple-double (points, rebounds, and turnovers). Honestly I would love to see us break out on top and flush this team - getting our 2nd 5 big minutes. Let's remember though - Sacramento beat the Lakers recently.

Duff_Man
But what about the second quarter? That's what the Makers Mark is for. Although the beers are 11% and 9%, so I will be flying high.
