Printer Problems

i have a lexmark printer and when i pluf the usb cord to my computer the computer doesn't read it AT ALL. it doesnt even know i pluged something in.

I'm not really an expert on printers, but whatever.

Do you still have the printer's manual or book of instructions? There is probably something in there that might shed some light on why your computer isn't reading the USB cable. Did you try using a different USB cable with your computer or have you tried using a different USB port?
