mattlanta
TNT's David Aldridge is reporting that the Kings have agreed to send center Brad Miller and swingman John Salmons to the Bulls in exchange for forwards Drew Gooden and Andres Nocioni. This will be Miller's second stint with the Bulls and he should start at center. Salmons will likely come off the bench in Chicago, Nocioni should come off the bench in Sacramento, while Gooden could start at power forward, or come off the bench behind Jason Thompson. Spencer Hawes now looks like the starting center for the Kings, as soon as this deal is finalized. Feb. 18 - 4:38 pm et http://rotoworld.com/content/HeadLines.asp...A&hl=110595 There goes all hope for Miller coming to Atlanta. Not like I really wanted him... but this isn't a bad trade for the Bulls, although I don't see Miller fitting what they're trying to do over there. Salmons is a very good bench player. WraithSentinel
Bulls needed to make a trade just for the sake of it. Rather pointless trade for both sides.
Premium Member mrhonline Posted February 18, 2009 Premium Member Report Share Posted February 18, 2009 Looks like the Bulls will make a couple of other trades - Hughes -for- E. Thomas/M. James (Wizards) and Hinrich -for- Cardinal/Collins. Talk about a makeover...
