What would you do about Bibby...

What are your thoughts on Bibby; I think he's a valuable asset to the team...but what I'm really asking is 'what is he worth when his contract is up at the end of the season?'

Should we resign him?? If so what is a reasonable contract...length, annual salary, etc.

Could we resign him for less than what we're paying now? What do other teams need/want him and how much do you think they would spend for him?

If you're anti-resigning Bibby...what do you think we should do instead?

You know I was just thinking of starting a poll on this myself.

I'm thinking 3 years 30 million which I think people will find a bit much here.

He's still going strong and can probably play at a high level until he's 35.

We must resign Bibby to compete, the guy is a warrior. He never gives up unlike Smoove and Joe.

Yeah, I hope they don't let him walk. Bibs is an extremely important piece to the puzzle. When he's got his shot on, dude is lights out from all over the floor (e.g.last night). Plus he's got a nice chemistry going with the rest of the team.

We don't have a PG capable of replacing what Bibby brings. We don't have another starter quality PG on the roster either. I dont think there's going to be anything worth pursuing in Free Agency either. I saw we resign Bibby to a 3 year 20 million dollar deal, and draft a young PG like Lawson or Collison.

I really like that idea. I love the idea of Collison or Lawson if they are available at our draft position.

I think Bibby would want more then 20 million but I agree I would not go over 3 years.

You could also throw in a dozen one way tickets out of Atlanta if you're Rick Sund and use the the following reasoning with Bibby...

"Think of all the money you'll save Mike if we ship Team Dime out of town!"

3 years 30 million, a dozen plane tickets and a cheese steak burrito. Done and done.

What makes some of you guys think Woodson will play "Collison or Lawson" if he doesn't even play Acie Law, almost a top ten draft pick?

My only problem with Bibby is that he disappears 3 out of 5 games. He always has a couple of games where is a top 5 pg, then the next 3 he totally disappears.

Bibby has actually been extremely consistent this year.
