exodus
at finishing inside. I have been cringing for weeks whenever he goes in for a layup because i always expect him to miss if there is a defender in the same zip code. However i hadn't looked at his numbers. He is making only 27% of his shots inside that aren't dunks. that is just staggering. http://www.82games.com/0809/08ATL7.HTM

His inside finishing is not even at a poor NBA level. It's unbelievable how terrible he is at finishing. Especially for someone with his height and athleticism. Such a contrast from Childress. Premium Member mrhonline Posted February 26, 2009 Premium Member Report Share Posted February 26, 2009 (edited) For a role player, it's not that big a deal. He's asked to hit the open perimeter shot and play good on-ball defense. And he does both of those things really well. Compared to the starting PF's recent inability to rebound and hit free throws, it's not a big deal. Edited February 26, 2009 by mrhonline
Duff_Man
I will say this...Flip Murray was basically openly ignoring Mo Evans in the 4th quarter. I counted three times Flip saw a wide open Mo and decided to take it himself. Not sure if that's funny or sad.

And I think you're mistaken on his defense. He gets lost as much as Childress and he has a hard time staying in front of guys without fouling.
