Admin capstone21 Posted March 2, 2009 Admin Report Share Posted March 2, 2009 It is amazing all these phantom calls that James is getting. Tony Brothers is terrible. I am tired of Superstars getting calls while lesser players do not. What a bs win for Cleveland tonight.
DrReality
That is the norm. I think it sucks, but that's how the treat the King. One point?
Premium Member mrhonline Posted March 2, 2009 Premium Member Report Share Posted March 2, 2009 Yep, a foul called when LeBron initiates the contact. NBA - Where Superstar Calls Happen. (And people wonder why the U.S. team struggles vs. good teams in international competition).
Chris18
Ref bailed LeBron out on that shot.
TanAdam
Not going to say that refs coat us the win, but not calling a foul on Joes drive to the basket on the second to last possession was absurd. Especially with lebron getting the same call on the other end next trip down. And Mo Williams is a homo.

Still lame.
Eddielives
Why don't they just let the guys play to decide the game. I mean unless it is obvious as hell, don't make the call. How much more fun would it be to watch these games if the players actually determined the outcome instead of ticky tack calls by refs.

Players should be on an even level if you are a rookie, a 12th man or a superstar
DrReality
JJ has never gotten equal calls. I bet you could go through that tape and find a dozen calls that could have made the difference. But in the end we showed our stuff tonight on national TV. No reason to hang our heads.

Players should be on an even level if you are a rookie, a 12th man or a superstar I kinda said it with a sarcastic tone. Doesn't translate too well on the internet, lol. But yeah, it is ridiculous. You don't call that foul at the end of a game.
MrRyda
The announcers were biased too. We'll never got Lebron-esque love.
NJHAWK
Lebron is king of espn thats about it. That dyed blonde chick calling the game sounded like she wanted to give him heead.

They should have given the ball to someone who could get in the lane and draw contact with 1.6 left.
Premium Member mrhonline Posted March 2, 2009 Premium Member Report Share Posted March 2, 2009 I'm not sure that's enough time for anyone other than LeBron to get in the lane and draw a foul, gsu...

That game was decided by a horrible foul call at the end, pretty simple. Drive or no drive it wasnt a foul and there should have been ot. Now we did blow the lead so we dug our own grave. I don't think anyone on our team could have gotten a foul with 1.6 seconds. JJ had more contact on his drive and he didn't initiate it.
