Plainview1981
LA's loss to the Hawks clearly had little to do with the hawks. Charlotte owned LA tonight. This team is on a downhill spiral again at a very bad time. They're streaking one way or the other and it's been that way all season. Philly is going to own the Hawks in the playoffs if they get 5th seed.

LOL_Hawks
Ok. Who cares about what the Lakers or Bobcats do? We're done with both of them most likely.
Plainview1981
They were on a 5 game winning streak when we faced them. Sure, the downward spiral happened before we played them... They were playing terrible teams... They had beaten: Golden State, Chicago, Oak City, Detroit and New Jersey. Plus, Kobe just got hurt the other night. Edited April 1, 2009 by Hotlanta1981

Plainview1981
Ummm....Charlotte always beats the Lakers. The Lakers lost because they played bad. As we seen in this game, The hawks are not a good defensive team. They give up 97PPG on the season. They have NO defensive identity. The hawks count on the other team just playing bad most nights. Premium Member mrhonline Posted April 1, 2009 Premium Member Report Share Posted April 1, 2009 MrRyda is right. The Kittens have often played tough vs. the Lakers. Probably still pissed Kobe wouldn't play for them...

Philly is going to own the Hawks in the playoffs if they get 5th seed. Did you see the highlights ? Michael Jordan was sitting front row yelling at the refs, talking to Kobe, and giving fans fist pumps. It even showed him walk over to the huddle during a time out and get in a Bobcats player's face. The team was showing out for MJ and it was probably one of 3 or 4 Bobcat sellouts all season. Remember when Atlanta would have 3 sellouts a year, and for those 3 games only stars would be sitting courtside and the players played above their heads for the packed out home crowd. (NC is a unique basketball state. There were not many Kobe / Lakers fans in the stands. It was 90% Bobcats) That is what happened. The Bobcats had a packed house to play in front of for once. They were pumped for that game. MJ is really pushing them to get the 8th playoff seed. They are 2 games back right now. Plus Raja Bell is an old nemisis of Kobe's.
