HAWKS1986
They showed no passion from the very start of this game. They expected Miami to keep firing and missing. Joe Johnson said during a TNT post-game interview that the team was "complacent"...
exodus
Complacency was a factor, but lack of focus and execution ...and the team didn't play with a sense of urgency until they got down by 18 late in the third quarter... The Hawks played tentative, and the coaching staff didn't make the proper adjustments when Wade went crazy...and Marvin, Joe and others weren't able to step up and make shots... How is Marvin going to make shots from the bench? He only played 19 minutes. Flip is the guy who has been really off. he is only 5-21 so far in the series. Any team in the NBA is going to be tough to beat when they shoot 15-26 from 3 and can make last second heaves off the glass. Woody's stupidity is as much to blame as anything. Leaving Flip and Mo isolated on Wade for an extended period is what allowed him to get off.
DrReality
Looking forward to game three to see which team shows up. And after all the talk, Woody's job is likely on the line.
