oiatlhawksfan
Man SMH @ them Hawks. Wade really exposed J.J for what a real superstar is. That dude wasn't hittin nothin in the whole 4th quarter. That's when a superstar is supposed to show up!!! Not to mention he had the crowd behind him. Those two missed free throws reminded me of when he choked against Boston earlier in the season.
tonegully
How did wade expose joe? That makes no sense.
FrankWhite
Joe's looked very average in this series. Hopefully, he'll wake the eff up.
Jackets333
The only thing Wade exposed was his true game tonight. You really thought we could hold him under 20 every game? HE AVERAGED 30 IN 82 GAMES.

What are you gonna do, double team him on the perimeter? The way they shot tonight it didn't matter. Some people just don't understand basketball. If the man is making shots there is nothing you can do. If you come up on him, he's gonna drive right by you. He made tough shots tonight, just tip your hat. Leaving Flip and Mo isolated on Wade is not in any way going to make him uncomfortable. In fact, it was the exact opposite.
exodus
If Miami gave JJ all the open shots that Mo/Flip were giving Wade i think JJ could score pretty easily too.
swolehawk2
Joe was doubled every time he touched the ball. Wade was not.Yep they are doubling Joe hard all game, he is making the pass and the ball is stopping; we need to keep the ball moving. Wade should get 30; we don't double him ,he got hot and the refs gave him calls.Miami can't shoot like that again. If we don't panic we will be fine. crimedog
I think the adjustment we made this game was to reverse our effective strategies from the last game. Instead of aggressively doubling Wade, we let Flip single cover him and instead of going inside to our more efficient bigs, we let our SGs take heavily contested pull-up Js. Credit where credit is due though, Miami hit some tough shots. We had the ORbdg edge and the points in the paint edge and Miami still won by hitting 56% of their shots. HamHawk
Joe was doubled every time he touched the ball. Wade was not.Joe kept trying to force through the double team. We couldn't double team Wade because he could pass the ball. Why won't Woody let Joe pass? And why did Flip stay in so long?? He was killing us too.So many things to point out in that game, it's better to just forget and move on to game

We did enough things wrong to start a thousand threads about what we need to improve on. It was an ugly performance. We play even remotely like we did last night on the road, we won't see Phillips again this year.

aznsensation
The problem is guys can't get within 5 ft from Wade without getting a foul call on them. If JJ get the same treatment as Wade, JJ will score at will everytime he gets into the paint let alone less double team and more space to shoot in the perimeter.
