If The Hawks Win Game 7, is all forgiven?

Just wondering how everyone feels about our up and down play in this series.

If we win Sunday, does it matter how ugly this series has been? If we get through round 1 and then lose to the Cav's, is our season a success? This team certainly makes it difficult on it's fans. There is no excuse for a COMPLETE letdown on the road in a game that would have closed out the series. BUT......is winning the series all that matters?

just wondering......

Yes winning does eliminate a lot of heartache but if we survive and then get swept by the Cavs I would think there will be disappointment. I think when the Hawks are playing with the right mindset and executing they are competitive with any team. The Hawks just will not sustain their intensity so you never know what team to expect.

If we get to the 2nd round, it has been a successful season.

Anybody who says that at the beginning of the season, that they wouldn't have been happy if the Hawks reached the 2nd round, is lying to you. This is a fan base where most people didn't even have the Hawks winning 45 games. So getting to the 2nd round BETTER be something that Hawk fans look at as being a success.

The up and down ends Sunday...it will be a blood and guts game and likely go down to the wire. We better be ready.
