TruJerz
i was just in their forum seeing what they would be saying about us..They are already thinking about Magic and Celtics lol I hope we beat these guys..check it out for yourself tho: http://www.cleveland.com/forums/cavs/
High5
Can't really blame them. They have been watching a well oiled machine all year and they see us play like crap against Miami. I'd expect an easy series, too.
Jammin29
well we probably lose in 5, maybe 6. Although we didnt do to bad agasint the cavs this season, we did beat them once and lost be 14, 1 and 6. It should be an alright series.
DrReality
We've got to play our A game. If we do, we have a chance to win one or two. Same situation we were in last year with Boston. Like the underdog role.
Gray Mule
You can bet that the odds are stacked heavily against the Hawks. Same thing happened last season against Boston, which many thought would be a 4-0 and done for the eventual champions. This year, there won't be too many betting money on a 4-0 sweep by Cleveland. To their fans, we may be a joke. Celtic fans felt the same way last season. It will be a fight. Hawks will not simply roll over and play dead. They are hungry. They have tasted victory and they like it. Health is a major concern for both teams. Hopefully, Marvin will be back. What happens if either team loses a star to injuries? That would throw everything out the window, wouldn't it. GO HAWKS!!!
Moderators macdaddy Posted May 4, 2009 Moderators Report Share Posted May 4, 2009 Since the Heat-Hawks was probably the worst seven game series in the history of the nba I don't really blame them. But I don't think our guys are intimidated by the Cavs. We've seen Lebron sulk off the court after being frustrated by the Hawks (not so much recently). The difference between this year's hawks and cavs isn't nearly as great as between last years Hawks and Celtics. And we came close to winning that one. LOL_Hawks
LOL @ "Our economy is based on LeBron James" and "At least we're not Detroit." So many gems but those were the best. But yeah, I really don't blame them for feeling that way. The Cavs have been owning face all year, and the Hawks just won the worst 7 game series of all time. We're still gonna steal 1 or 2 games from them at Phillips. Plus, most of their fans (at least on their smart message boards) aren't completely illiterate fools like most of the Heat fans were, and I actually like the Cavs. If they get past us, I hope they win it just because Cleveland hasn't won sh-t EVER. By stars, I'm going out on a limb and saying LeBron and Joe?? :) I think it's safe to say Cleveland would be much worse off without LeBron than the Hawks would be without JJ. Take LeBron off the Cavs, Hawks in 5.

Premium Member Atlantaholic Posted May 4, 2009 Premium Member Report Share Posted May 4, 2009 That's pretty understandable, everyone who isn't a hawks fan pretty much thinks we are a joked compared to Cleveland.

I certainly hope that the Cavs actually share the sentiment of their fans - because we are much more talented and capable than we have shown. What would be a shocker for the rest of the world wouldn't surprise me - outside of the fact that our boys finally played up to their potential. LOL_Hawks
6 I think ATL gets 2 at home. We lost there earlier this season and then needed a government bailout at the end for our second visit. Should be a battle Smart fan. lol. I do agree with that guy's prediction. If this goes 6, I'll be ecstatic.
