Negatives about Joes game: He's nearly as tall as our front court but finishes below the rim and doesn't absorb contact well considering his strength. Doesn't finish well inside the paint at all. His offense is relegated to mid/long range jumpshots and of course the go to floater. Considering how big he is not physical at all in the post. If Joe and Josh are the same weight one would hope that he would abuse the smaller guard relentlessly.

JJ does abuse smaller guards in the post which is why he is constantly doubled when he posts up. Teams aren't going to let him back a guy down all the way in any more.

JJ's problem finishing inside is that he lacks hops, not that he can't take contact.

To add to the Lenny love, he actually helped Deke develop a post game. If he could get Deke to score, as mechanical and awkward Deke was, then he could work wonders with both Smith and Horford.

Speaking of that Era, you forgot to put in Leattner. Dude was great in his first two season with the club. Then he got pouty and wouldn't stop complaining to the refs. Josh Smith is starting to go down that road...Hopefully someone will get in Smith's ear and convince him to stop bitching and just to play throuhg it. Honestly, why do players think they will change the way the refs see a game when the complain?

After watching Lebron in this past series, I believe that some players can get a ref to change a call. There were three occassions when the refs changed up because Lebron said something.

Anyway, Lenny would have Horf and Smoove learning basketball. Enough Basketball that they would be dangerous.

Laettner was great during his time here. He never got the respect he deserved. We all learned the meaning of contract year when he and henderson came up for their contract renewal at the same time. Henderson really did out produce La8 at that time but it was the wrong choice. Then somebody slapped Hendu in the 8 and we wasted all that money. We've been cried for a big until Shareef showed up.
