Admin
http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=4320029 I don't know about that contract, that's a pretty good amount of money for a guy who hasn't proven himself as a starter and especially for someone that will be the backup PF. Admin
Good move for Portland, but Utah will match. I don't see how they can since they certainly don't want to pay dollar for dollar in luxury tax unless they're somehow able to clear enough salary by trading Boozer but I doubt they'll be able to create enough room. JJFAN4LF
I actually think he has proven himself as a starter. When Boozer went down, he was pulling down double doubles like it was nothing. I'm not entirely sold on him, but I would have offered him around that money. He deserves it. He was actually one of the most overlooked players last year. I remember last year there was a point where Millsap was actually considered for the All-star game, but coaches decided to pick David West over him. buckeye242424
Good move for Portland, but Utah will match. Getting any player from Utah would be concerning to me if I was a GM. Especially one that hasn't played for another team. Often a player's success is tied to the system they run. Sloan knows how to maximaze the talent he has because he knows what what he needs to succeed. Giving Milsap a big chunk of cheese is a gamble IMO.
