TheFormerJJBacker
Me too... but I'm thinking they have Millsap penciled in at the 4 behind Aldridge... They probably want to hang on to Joel as Oden insurance for the time being. Like the thinking, though. Wouldn't kill us to have a legit 7-footer out there to board and hack. thefloydian
I guess, but it just seems like they're going to have 2 backup big guys making 7+ mil a year. Seems like the money would be better spent elsewhere.
T21
Always liked that guy. Me too! The guy is 7'1" if not taller... plays good D, rebounds, sets solid picks, finishes here'n'there near the rim... that's basicaly what we need, BIG BODY! He's also still very young... P.S. If Blazers make him available, Hawks should at least make a phone-call...
DrReality
Would love to see Al play next to someone like him. We need an enforcer in the middle. Make the whole team tougher.
thefloydian
I know it won't happen, but I really wish it would. I've wanted Przybilla for the Hawks for a few years now and this move creates the chance that he'd be free.
MaceCase
I don't think they'd consider moving 'Vanilla until most that team are off their rookie contracts and that could take some time. I also read somewhere that Paul Allen gave a mandate to their GM Pritchard to speed up the time table as far as making them a contender. So even then he might not mind spending extra on that roster considering his deep pockets.

Premium Member sturt Posted July 12, 2009 Premium Member Report Share Posted July 12, 2009 Not sure how you'd get him... and that's a lot of money for someone who probably isn't going to start under normal circumstances.

Yeah, I don't even know how much he makes. I was just throwing it out there for more knowledgable people to comment on.
