Ahh our opponent injury luck continues! Look for a monster game by Solo now.

LOL, if Solo goes for 18 pts - 12 rebs - 4 blks. That would be terrible.

Shelden had a solid 4 pts - 3 reb game with Boston.

David Andersen looked real good in Houston with 11 pts.

Hopefully "Hack" Solo won't try to spoil opening night.

The Pacers' list of walking wounded is long and distinguished. Travis Diener (sore left toe), Mike Dunleavy (right knee rehab) and rookie forward Tyler Hansbrough (shin) are all out for tonight's game while veteran center Jeff Foster (back) is questionable.

They may have a hard time having enough guys to play?

With such a short roster, the Hawks better run, run again, and then run to change things up. The idea is to wear them down so by the 4th they are completely gassed and we are fresh from rotating the bench guys in and out.

In terms of playing teams that are short on players; we got our lunch handed to us in the playoffs partially due to injuries, so I have no problem building up a playoff resume by beating up on injured teams.

Damn, Tyler's out too... Wanted to see him play. Did their bus run off the road or something? Jeeze.

Pacers were like 3rd in pace last year, all O'Brien does is run those guys. They may be short of talented bodies but they are not short of bodies.

Pacers All-Star Granger practices, might play

By Mike Wells

Posted: October 28, 2009

ATLANTA -- All-Star forward Danny Granger participated in this morning's team shootaround, but the Pacers want to see how he responds before deciding whether he plays in the season opener tonight against the Atlanta Hawks.

Granger is dealing with a right bruised heel.

Swingman Dahntay Jones missed the shootaround with an upper respiratory infection. He is questionable. Reserve center Jeff Foster will play tonight after spending the past two days in Boston receiving treatment for an ailing back.
