About 10 of that was garbage time. Not worried.

We have showed a lot this year. Games like last night used to be losses. That says a lot about our team so far.

A win is a win of course, but we need to start playing better on the road, especially at the start of the games... If we were playing against the Celtics instead of Knicks we would of been blown out by halftime last night....

i guess that's the bottom line right? do you think the knicks played good and we played bad in the first half or we though we only need to play 20 minutes of good basketball to win?

The Knicks beat us twice last year in the garden, 109-105 & 112-104, they usually score pretty well at home. So to dominate them like we did in the 2nd half was impressive.

Not really. The Knicks coach has them pushing the ball. As in Pheonix, his teams score points. And as Duff_Man said "About 10 of that was garbage time".

Agreed. Everybody always says stuff like "we take one game at a time"...but realistically, all teams are made up of human beings and that means there is a tendency to take an inferior team lightly and look forward to a big challenging marquee game. It's human nature. Add to that the Knicks were hitting everything from the perimeter in the first half and our perimeter defense mainly consists of "hope they miss".

Bottom line is we ended up getting a fairly easy win - good enough to get Teague a minute and a half or so at the end. I just hope we are ready from the gitgo tomorrow night.
