If Woody won't let Teague play this year

Teague has not been too impressive so far, but the kid has nary gotten a chance. Has he even played over 20 minutes a game this year?

He has had five games over ten minutes; in contrast to Beaubois who has only had five games under 10 minutes....

Teague will start seeing more playing time b/c A) Bibby will need rest down the season and B) Sund will make him. I anticipate him to be average 12-14 MPG. Woody is having Bibby play now b.c he wants teague to learn the game so he wants him to watch Bibby and Crawford.

We won't win by 30 every game. Teague will get the same playing time he has been getting it. I'm calling it now.

Missed the 2nd half how many minutes did he get?

If he can't get minutes in that rout, he'll never get them

He played 21 minutes. Played almost the entire second half. He was pretty great. Everyone played great tonight. Guess our bench isn't filled with a bunch of NBDLers as some would have us believe. Well, except for Jason Collins lol.

Wow that's gotta be a career high for minutes for him. I see he scored in double figures as well. Pretty nice.

After it was obivous that he was gonna stay in the game you could tell he got a little pop in his step. On one play he called off several picks and took it to Calderon, and on another he drove hard to the basket for a dunk. He seems like a natural passer too which is good to see since the knock on him in college was that he wasn't a natural PG.

And even if Toronto is a horrible team, Calderon and Jack are decent NBA players. Teague may or may not be a future all-star, but Teague already is IMO a decent NBA player. It would be nice if Woody could just see giving him the minutes all these other rookie PG's are getting coming off the bench.

He is still only shooting .371 from the field when he plays more than 15 minutes; but he is also shooting 3 of 5 (.600) from the 3pt line in those games. He has promise and obviously can get to the basket and pass. He is a great change of tempo vs our two slow rollers, Bibby or JJ.

Yeah, his FG% will go up once he can consistently finish at the rim. His jump shot has looked better and so has his defense. He's a willing passer and can get to the lane at will. He's no great player yet, but he deserves more than the 9 MPG he was getting before tonight's blowout win.
