coachx
Good win and yes, the Nets are a bad team, but they took care of business and got some confidence back. I would like to see Teague more assertive running the point when he's out there. Too many times he hands off to Crawford or JJ and goes to hide in the corner. Thats all coaching and offensive scheme. It makes more sense with Bibby, playing in that way, since he is a deadly 3 point shooter and struggles to creats off the dribble. JJ or Crawford are basically playing a score first, pass out 2nd role but it works with Bibby as a floor spacer more so then Teague. In Woody's mind the iso call is playing it "safe." He is probablyc orrect for the "right here right now " since a rookie PG will make some mistakes and turnovers but cut the kid some slack and give him a little more rope to play with. Teague can develop into a Devin Harris type of game when given the chance. I would love to see Teague get the chance to penetrate with both JJ and Crawford spacing the floor for him. You would think he could get them open looks like Nash did for Q-Rich and JJ .........while JJ was in Phoneix and played almost exclusively off the ball. .
