hawks21
The refs judgment is clearly poor, and allowing Perkins to change the refs mind in regard to allocation of personal and flagrant fouls is crazy. In Boston, Perkins convinced refs he was fouled flagrantly by Zaza, now Perkins convinces an impressionable ref to call a FLAGRANT ONE ON JOSH SMITH.. and threw an ELBOW... what the heck is going on.. RedDawg#8
On the radio feed, they kept saying that this is what David Stern and the NBA gets for assigning 3 "third" referees to this game and not having a lead ref on the crew. Basically inferring all of the are underqualified for this kind of game.
Premium Member Atlantaholic Posted January 30, 2010 Premium Member Report Share Posted January 30, 2010 The officiating has pretty much killed this game.
FrankWhite
I've seen a lot of questionable flagrant foul calls in my life, and the one against Zaza in Boston was definitely one of them, but THAT? Was the worst flagrant foul call in the history of the NBA. That was a completely routine foul. Somebody should lose their job for that, but refs in the NBA never lose their jobs.
