Sorry if this isn't in the right area, but I thought I'd start a thread on this.

I hear a lot of times about how the Hawks can't beat "good teams", etc... I specifically remember hearing from someone in the chat, "we got our butts whooped by the Spurs, and they're not good this year".

The Nuggets got crushed tonight by a Tony Parker-less (and very old-looking) Spurs team tonight..and the Nuggets are second in the west. Does that make them a bad team?

Just goes to show that on any night, any team can win.

The Spurs, not the Lakers, are, imo, the gold standard for the NBA. They are always one of the best teams in the league, regardless of record (and their record in the last 11-12 years has never been "bad"). I'm guessing who said that was Hotlanta.

The Spurs are 30-21 currently 5th in the west. Silly to call them not a good team.
