00Blink
Hint: He didn't make the all star team. I want to say Josh Smith, but that seems to be the "easy" answer. This has to be a trick question.

Premium Member niremetal Posted February 24, 2010 Premium Member Report Share Posted February 24, 2010 Actually, you can take off the 15ppg. He's the only one averaging 8rpg and 4apg.

Yeah and if you take away the 30 PPG Michael Jordan isn't that special either. Come on. How can you take away PPG? BTW, 15 , 8 , an 4 are dang good numbers. If you want to know how impressive a stat line is, look historically at people who averaged that line for their careers. 15/8/4 doesnt sound like uch but how many people averaged that for their careers? http://www.basketball-reference.com/play-index/tiny.cgi?id=O5gyB Only 9!! And that's not including the 1.5 SPG and 2 BPG which would eliminate all but Wilt and Bill Russell Basically this is the kind of effort where we should be more than stoked if Josh could maintain this level that he's playing right now for years to come. Dude. I was pointing out that even if you take away the ppg, he's still the only one in the whole league averaging 8rpg and 4apg. I have no clue how the hell you read that as an insult rather than a complement. It's no different than someone pointing out that even if you subtract his goals scored, Gretzky is the NHL's all time leader in points. It makes the accomplishment more impressive, not less. I think his point was that 8reb/4ast is impressive by itself. No one else is doing that, let alone adding in the 15pts, 1.5spg, and 2bpg.
