Look at the remaining dates on Boston's schedule.

13 of their remaining 25 games are against teams currently in the playoffs... 5 more are against teams that could sneak in.

18 of their last 25 are against teams that at this point have something to play for.

Cleveland has 12. The Hawks have 11 remaining but their list is not as ominous. Orlando only has 9.

Seems Boston played the lighter schedule thus far. Seems like we're pretty much a lock for that 3 seed (all things being equal).

I mean yikes that is a tough schedule, if Boston wants to prove that they have any semblance of contending ability left they will have to show it over this stretch. Sheed says they're bored and cant wait to get the regular season over with but they still have to go out and make at least a little bit of a statement over this stretch so as to make whoever they face in the playoffs think twice about their matchup.

That being said, we are still the Hawks and need to worry about who we face and beating them rather than watching what goes on around us.
