Contrary to a lot of belief, the Hawks are not even remotely the team they can be without Joe. This year to be exact, who knows what the future brings as far as changeover but i wouldn't want to push the issue.

Why would the Knicks trade lee, tmac, and a first when they could just sign JJ outright?

JJ and Marvin to the Knicks for Gallanari and Curry.

IF we lose JJ to the Knicks, let's rebuild quickly.

We offer to take Curry's salary. It causes a big savings for NY so that they can go after another star. Gallanari is a very good player. We get Marvin's long term off the books. We sign Childress to a 5 year deal. We go after a PG .

We can't stop JJ if he wants to play with Lebron. However, we can get something back. What I would like back is Gallanari and Capspace in 2011.

I would also go after Heywood.
