other than the obvious, how do we know Woody didn't have these guys prepared? Woody can't control the piss-poor work ethic of a grown man that's being paid millions to play a game.

Agreed NOTR....I would bet dollars to doughnuts that Woody preached to the guys that they had to "be prepared" ( a little boyscout lingo there )...but if the millionaires don't listen to him it isn't his fault.

In this case it's the owners' fault. It's their job to have/hire a coach that the players WILL listen to.

That's what effective NBA coaches have to do and if they can't do that they should be replaced.

Simple as that.

He's right. The Hawks have entered games against under .500 teams several times this season and look unprepared and not focused. These past two games are the prime example.
