Premium Member Diesel Posted May 27, 2010 Premium Member Report Share Posted May 27, 2010 Get Shaq. I know. When I say resign Joe, Sign Chillz, and get Shaq.. I know it sounds like I'm bleeding ASG dry. In fact, how much would shaq ask for? Well, here's the deal. Shaq would keep the Phil Filled. Shaq would be the biggest media draw this city have ever had. Even bigger than Vick. Shaq would actually serve a great purpose on this team. He's the guy who comes in and plays 15-20 mpg and spells Horf. He's our playoff assassin. He still gets his matchup with Dwight Howard if we meet them in the playoffs. He gets to play in a city he loves. He gets another shot at winning a championship and proving himself as the biggest force in basketball history. We have the talent to make this work... I wonder how much we'd have to come out of pocket to afford Shaq?
99PROBL3MS
Shaq made a ton of money this season but I think it isn't about the money now. He is looking to play for a winner that can contend. I would start Shaq. Everyone says he is completely washed up but 12pts 7rebs and 56% FG in just 20 minutes can be pretty valuable. That isn't considering his intangible presence in the paint. People still fear Shaq from a competitive stand point.
gsuteke
Shaq should retire with dignity. He was once the most dominant big in the game. At this point he's just "hanging on" year by year

Admin capstone21 Posted May 28, 2010 Admin Report Share Posted May 28, 2010 +1, his % looked horrible through his impact is still there. I have to agree...he is a shell of his former self and doesn't know when to call it quits.
