Chillz - can we keep him?

Seriously....can we keep Chillz? (with creativity and not go luxury tax) He would be a perfect player within a moving/passing offense.

The barriers to his return seem to be all shot down (all the haters fired for their incompetance...except maybe an owner or two). Why not just keep him and watch our passing offense go? Chillz didn't do anything wrong. He went for the $$ like almost all do. Chillz was drafted at the 6 spot to be our SF and then was immediately double-crossed by BK when he picked the eighth wonder of the world - Marvin. Could have had Chillz at SF and CP3 at PG - oh well - water under the bridge now.

Still - even though BK mismanaged for so long - that is no reason to not keep Chillz if we can.

for the purposes of the cap, Chillz has a cap hold right now of 10.9 million dollars. We'd be in a better situation to sign him than to let him sit out there in Greece. although we aren't currently paying him, that number is eating at our cap.

So if we signed Chillz for 5 million, technically we get 5.9 million better towards the cap.

I say we offer Chillz a 3 year $19.56 Million dollar deal.

then we find a trade for Marvin.

Maybe NY or NJ could use him?

I would trade Marvin for Cap Space and a 2nd rounder.
