Johnnybravo4
We are at the point now where we should be able to get FA like Haywood for only the MLE. Tell him we will start him at center. 5 years 30 million.
NJHAWK
I dont know if Haywood would be better than Shaq. He is younger but he is also soft. Shaq may be old and injury prone but he isnt soft.
Moderators AHF Posted July 5, 2010 Moderators Report Share Posted July 5, 2010 Much ado about nothing. JJ wants the 6th year. He will return. Pretty much this.
Plainview1981
FYI Dirk signed the MAXIMUM contract amount for the MAXIMUM amount of years that he could. He was only able to sign a 4 year deal because he is 32 years old and the NBA won't allow him to sign for more than 4 years at a max salary since that contract would carry over past the limit of 36 years old for max contracts. So for those who are trying to use him as an example of a real team player you should probably check out the facts first before trying to make our star player look bad in comparison. Joe has done enough to make himself look bad in the last year. He doesn't need my or the help of anyone else to do that. It's disgusting that Joe will be getting 22-25 million at 35 years AND now possibly has a no trade clause. Dirk has lead his team to the finals at least. Joe has had one mediocre-bad playoff performance after another.
