Gray Mule
:line dance: Hawks made it to the second round - - Not once, but twice. In two years and with repeated flustration, our beloved Hawks have won -0- games in the second round. We all hope that with a new head coach, we arrive this season at the second round and come our victorious. Atlanta's WNBA team swept their opponent in round one, then went to NY and Madison Square Gardens, where they have won the first game in round two, 81-75. Hawks, the Dream has set the pattern for you to follow. They, like the Hawks, should be more comfortable playing at home, where they will be Tuesday night. Go Hawks! Follow the Dream's example!! :dancing18:
Joker
Yes sir, but the Dream have a superstar and the Hawks do not. That's the biggest difference and the Dream have team balance as well. Not to mention, the youngest team in these playoffs. Taking an average at best SF instead of one of the two all-star PGs (when you NEED a PG) will come back to haunt you. That said: Congrats to the Atlanta Dream!

Does have to make the Hawks rebuilding plan look sort of lame. Took the Dream three years to get a second round win. They bult the team everyway you can - college draft, free agents, trades, expansion draft, dispersal draft. In a few cases, it looks like they maybe they added by subtraction. And, I can't think of any real talent they passed up that was a lot better than what they got. Anyway - GO DREAM. We'll be there Tuesday. :thumbsupsmileyanim:

TheNorthCydeRises
The Dream are the best rebounding team in the WNBA ( see the sig to see what that potentially means )
Joker
The Dream are the best rebounding team in the WNBA ( see the sig to see what that potentially means ) Sancho Little is a beast on the board and De Souza clears them out for Little. It helps that two of their guards can rebound as well. Shayla can run the system and change the tempo at a great rate. Her defense is meh but she helps them in a major way. JJFAN4LF
Tune in to NBATV if you're not in the Atlanta area. If you are go to Fox Sports South. This game is just exciting to watch. WraithSentinel
I don't want to get my hopes up for this team. Good job on them making it this far. Hopefully they can bring home a title.

Moderators lethalweapon3 Posted September 8, 2010 Moderators Report Share Posted September 8, 2010 Finals schedule: http://www.wnba.com/playoffs/2010/10_finals_schedule.html "Home" games are Thursday, September 16 and (hopefully, if necessary) Sunday, September 19. However... because of Elmo and Friends (remember last year?), once again the Dream, who were expected to be totally done by now, probably won't be playing at Philips Arena. Back to Gwinnett Arena, perhaps? (I'm pulling for Kathy Betty to arrange for the Thrillerdome!) ~lw3
